Heritage

Established in 1933

LE-AL was established way back in 1933 by Leah and Albert Viner initially as a retail shop located in Stoke. In the late 1960's the business began specialising in home office / study furniture. After a short time LE-AL evolved into manufacturing their own home antique reproduction office furniture using exotic real wood veneers and introduced a wide range of leather and fabric seating products featuring traditional deep buttoning skills that complemented their desks, tables and cabinet furniture.

By the mid 1990's the growth and development of LE-AL office furniture in the UK led to the company attracting interest internationally with primary markets throughout the Middle East, Europe and Russia.

Typically customers were, and still are, the headquarters of major corporations and many Government Agencies including Embassies and High Commissions.

Artisans

Created by Hand

LE-AL's extensive product range combines beautiful exotic wood veneers with the very best quality leathers and superb fabric ranges. We are aware that one of the major challenges facing manufacturers today is the retention of traditional skills - once the domain of the master craftsmen in years gone by. Our selection and use of the best materials ensure that our creations stand the test of time in terms of their aesthetic beauty and durability.

Continued investment in modern plant, machinery and state of the art computer systems underpins LE-AL's most valuable asset - its people! Over the last 15 years we have been fortunate to attract and retain some of the most skilled and experienced craftsmen in the industry in addition to maintaining our commitment to our ongoing apprenticeship programme, designed to ensure that these traditional skills are not lost.
